Wrong variable type generates
misleading
error message
If I try to put a variable of the wrong type in a variable field it complains that it's invalid because it seems to suggest that the fault is that there are no % signs. In the example above %TST Day I% is of Text type when it should be Integer. It would be better if the dialog said "Invalid Variable Type. Variable specified is of type 'Text' and should be type 'Integer'". Or something to that effect. |
